Frontier Airlines cabin bag size
Everything you can bring on board Frontier Airlines — sizes, weight and cost.
Frontier Airlines cabin baggage explained
Frontier includes one personal item on every ticket. The larger carry-on is sold separately or included through selected bundles or status benefits, so size and entitlement need separate checks.
What your fare changes
The personal item is 18 × 14 × 8 in (about 46 × 36 × 20 cm) and up to 35 lb. The carry-on is 24 × 16 × 10 in (about 61 × 41 × 25 cm), also up to 35 lb. Economy, Premium and Business bundles currently include the larger piece.
What to check before you fly
Frontier says wheels, handles and straps count, and personal-item size can be checked during boarding. Bag prices vary by journey and purchase timing, so use the airline’s live price checker instead of relying on a fixed fee quoted elsewhere.

Worked bag-size example
Take a compact personal-item bag measuring 45 × 35 × 19 cm and weighing 7 kg. Compare it with the personal-item limit of 46 × 36 × 20 cm and 16 kg.
The smallest dimensional margin is 1 cm, so the bag is within the size limit. Its weight margin is 9 kg.
We compare the three outside edges after orientation, including protruding parts. A result with less than 0.5 cm of clearance is marked tight because measuring and packing can change the real size.
