Aegean Airlines cabin bag size
Everything you can bring on board Aegean Airlines — sizes, weight and cost.
Aegean Airlines cabin baggage explained
Aegean’s included cabin bag is unusually roomy at 56 × 45 × 25 cm, matching the largest European cabin boxes, but it carries a strict 8 kg weight limit and is not part of the cheapest Light fare.
What your fare changes
Economy fares above Light include one 56 × 45 × 25 cm cabin bag up to 8 kg. Economy Light is a hand-baggage-restricted ticket, so confirm the cabin allowance on that fare before you rely on it. Business carries a larger allowance.
What to check before you fly
The generous 56 × 45 × 25 cm size makes the 8 kg weight the real constraint — it is easy to fill that box past 8 kg. Light-fare tickets may not include the cabin bag at all. Measure with wheels and handles, which count toward the box.
Full baggage allowance
| Allowance | Max size | Weight | Fare | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Cabin bag / carry-on | 56 × 45 × 25 cm 22 × 17.7 × 9.8 in | 8 kg | Economy (not Light) | Free |
Worked bag-size example
Take a large Economy cabin bag measuring 55 × 44 × 24 cm and weighing 7.5 kg. Compare it with the cabin-bag limit of 56 × 45 × 25 cm and 8 kg.
The smallest dimensional margin is 1 cm, so the bag is within the size limit. Its weight margin is 0.5 kg.
We compare the three outside edges after orientation, including protruding parts. A result with less than 0.5 cm of clearance is marked tight because measuring and packing can change the real size.
