Wizz Air cabin bag size
Everything you can bring on board Wizz Air — sizes, weight and cost.
Wizz Air cabin baggage explained
Wizz Air gives every passenger one under-seat bag and reserves the second, trolley-size piece for WIZZ Priority. Both published bag types have a 10 kg ceiling, but they use different sizers and are stored in different parts of the cabin.
What your fare changes
The free 40 × 30 × 20 cm bag is part of every fare. WIZZ Priority adds a 55 × 40 × 23 cm trolley bag for the overhead locker. WIZZ Go and WIZZ Plus bundles can include Priority-related baggage benefits, so the booking confirmation is more reliable than the fare name alone.
What to check before you fly
Wizz Air states that side pockets count. Handles and wheels are excluded from the main box measurement, but wheels may add no more than 5 cm. That exception does not create extra room for an overfilled fabric pocket.

Worked bag-size example
Take a fully packed under-seat backpack measuring 40 × 30 × 20 cm and weighing 9.5 kg. Compare it with the personal-item limit of 40 × 30 × 20 cm and 10 kg.
The smallest dimensional margin is 0 cm, so the bag is exactly on or very close to the size limit. Its weight margin is 0.5 kg.
We compare the three outside edges after orientation, including protruding parts. A result with less than 0.5 cm of clearance is marked tight because measuring and packing can change the real size.
